Scholarships - Financial Assistance - Workstudy - Highlights
The tuition for Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary for the 2004-2005 academic year is $6,000.00 for every student. No student who is sincerely interested in priesthood will be turned away from Archbishop Quigley because of financial need.
Through the generosity of our alumni and
the Church of Chicago, Archbishop Quigley is able to offer scholarships to our 
students to reward them for academic success, student involvement,
specific defined success and a variety of other criteria. A complete list of the
scholarships is available in the Business Office. Each incoming Freshmen Class is
offered the following one year scholarships:
Five Quigley Presidential Scholarships (Full tuition)
Five Quigley Rector Scholarships (Half tuition)
Five Phoenix Awards (Quarter Tuition)
Five Parish Scholarships (Applicant must be nominated by his parish and offers a 25% to 50% tuition reduction)
Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary understands that some families cannot afford to pay the full tuition rate. Quigley Seminary offers those families financial assistance. The assistance is based solely on financial need of the student and will vary in amount depending on the need. Assistance has ranged from $500.00 to $2,000.00, based upon the parents'/guardians' ability to pay tuition.
Students who receive financial assistance are required to provide
service hours to the school. The aim of the work study program is for students to realize
the cost of education and that they need to invest in their own education by providing
service to their school. .
· Statements will be mailed out on the first of every month from August to May.
· Payment is due by the 15th of every month.
· Financial aid will be credited to the tuition account before the start of the school year.
· A $500 credit for each brother attending Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary will be credited to the account before the start of the school year.
· The only fee charges to your account will be for: Yearbook $20.00; and, a NSF $20.00 for each occurrence.
· Tuition for underclassmen must be paid in full in order to ensure registration for the subsequent school year.
· Tuition and any other financial debts for seniors must be paid in full prior to graduation.
