Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary is the high school level of the seminary system established
by the Catholic Bishop of Chicago. Ours is a liberal arts, college preparatory program which nurtures, educates and forms Catholic
youth in a supportive environment as they begin the process of exploring a vocation to the priesthood.
Our school strives to prepare students in a holistic way to make choices in their lives both today
and in the future. We provide a strong academic program including Advanced Placement classes and college credit courses with Loyola
University. Our formation program is rooted in the Gospel and in Catholic tradition. It encourages students to become people of
prayer, leadership and service, and enables them to explore priesthood. Our counseling program helps students grow in their personal
development as they consider choices for their future. Our program of athletics allows each student to participate according to his
level of fitness in both intramural and interscholastic sports. We also offer a variety of extra-curricular activities to promote
student interests.
Our student body reflects the rich variety of cultures and ethnic groups that encompasses the Church
of Chicago and its ministry. Quigley Seminary has a long-standing tradition of preparing youth called from their diverse communities
to serve the Church of Chicago. These young people have been recognized for their special gifts and talents by their pastors,
parish staffs and schools and have been recommended to us on that basis. The Quigley family of alumni, students, parents and staff
supports our ministry and communicates our message to the Archdiocese.
