The Stock Market Game is managed by the Illinois Council on Economic Education at Northern Illinois University. The Spring 2006 session included over 13,000 Illinois students in grades 4-12 from over 250 schools. The teams compete in regions divided into elementary and high school groups. Archbishop Quigley had a total of seven teams compete for the first time. Quigley finished in first and second place in our region out of 52 teams and will be attending an awards ceremony at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange on May 17th. Both teams also finished in the top 3% overall.
