Rev. Paul a graduate of East Leyden High School in 1979, he attended the University of Detroit/Mercy from 1979 through 1983,
earning a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Psychology. In the spring of 1983 he entered the Franciscan Novitiate. (St. John the Baptist
Province and made simple vows as a Friar on December 12, 1984. On December 12, 1985, he chose not to renew these vows and began a ten year
period of working. For the initial two years, he worked as a Special Education teacher and for the remaining eight years, he worked as a manager/administrator
for a Special Education School. His last position was with Clearbrook Foundation in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, running their scattered site housing program,
managing 28 homes for the Developmentally Disabled. In 1995, Paul entered St. Mary of the Lake Seminary and was ordained a priest for the Archdioceses of
Chicago in the Spring of 1999. His first assignment as a priest was at St. Michael's Parish in South Chicago. He completed this assignment as the
Parish's administrator in October of 2003. Simultaneously, in July of 2003, he was placed at Archbishop Quigley as a full time faculty member and priest. |
