Raymond Schuman

Ray is a Quigley graduate of the class of '55. His undergraduate degree is from St. Mary of the
Lake in Philosophy. He earned a Master's degree in math education from DePaul University. Active in math education professional
groups, he served as Vice-President of the Mathematics Teachers' Association of Chicago for six years. His teaching experience
includes computer courses at the junior college level. He also moderates both the Mathletes and Chessnuts, math and chess teams,
respectively. In 1993, he was appointed to "Who's Who of American Teachers" on the recommendation of former students. The award
of which he is most proud, however, is his peer election as "Heart of the School." |
