Rev. Gerald a graduate of Quigley Seminary North in 1987, he attended Niles College Seminary where he earned a minor in Philosophy and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. After graduating in 1991 he went on to the University of St. Mary of the Lake where he received his Master's in Divinity. Fr Walsh was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago in the spring of 1995. In 1995 he was assigned to St James Parish in Arlington Heights where he ministered for one year. From the years of 1996 to 2001 Rev. Walsh spent his second assignment at St George Parish in Tinley Park. In 2001, he was assigned to St. Francis Borgia parish, where he spent time as an associate pastor and as administrator. In July 2005, he was asked to join the faculty of Archbishop Quigley. Fr. Walsh is once again excited to be apart of Quigley's history, first as a student and now as a member of the faculty.
