2003 Grammar School
Chess Tournament Results
| On behalf
of all of Quigley, the Recruitment Club would like to thank the Chessnuts, coaches John
Renze and Ray Schuman, and all those who participated in the 2nd Annual AQPS Grammar
School Chess Tournament. Seventeen 7th and 8th Graders attended. Round one was a 30 minute battle against the Chessmaster. The eight players with the best scores advanced to round two, where they played in double elimination, while others were free to use the lab. Good times were had by all and the Chessnuts look forward to the success of this tournament for years to come. |
