The Summer Enrichment
Program is a two-week educational experience for boys currently in 6th and 7th grade. This
program offers a unique experience for young boys to experiment in areas of personal
interest in an exciting and challenging high school environment. The goal of the Summer
Enrichment Program is to encourage young men to enjoy the themselves in the area of
technology, academics, or sports.
The Summer Enrichment Program offers 22 different courses from which the participants will
take six courses per day, Monday through Friday. All students are encouraged to select 1
sports activity (maximum of 2 per day). We offer some of the most exciting and educational
events, that allow young adults discover Quigley as well as equip themselves with useful
knowledge.
Schedule:
Summer Enrichment 2006 will meet
Monday through Friday for two weeks from approximately 10:00 to 2:30. There
are six class periods and one lunch period in a day.
Cost:
If your completed
Course Selection Form with full payment is received....
... by Friday, May 5,
cost is $130 (less Transportation)
... by Friday, May 26, cost is $150 (less Transportation)
... by Monday, June 5, cost is $175 (less Transportation)
Transportation Fee
(optional): $60 for two weeks
Registration:
* Complete the enclosed Course
Selection Form and mail it with full payment.
* When your registration is processed, a postcard or e-mail will be sent to
you as confirmation.
* You will receive a Course Schedule and Van Pickup/Drop-off Packet in the
mail by Thursday, June 15, 2006.
Payment Policy:
Full payment, including bus transportation, is
due by the first day of the session.
Transportation:
Your son will be picked
up/dropped off every day at a parish as close to his as possible. In most
cases, sites are about fifteen to twenty minutes from your home. Once his
Pick-Up/Drop-Off site has been determined, it is set. Please do not
contact us asking for a change. If you decide that your son will take
CTA, know that he can purchase a reduced fare CTA pass from us to use for
the two week program. Quigley is located on the corner of Rush and Chestnut
Streets, one half block west of the John Hancock Center/Water Tower Place.
Other Notes:
*Absolute
registration deadline is June 5th.
*Checks are made payable to Quigley Seminary.
*Fee includes a Summer Enrichment T-shirt.
*Students can bring their own lunch or money to buy their lunch (hot dogs,
burgers, fries, c hips, nachos, etc...)
