CHICAGO WHITE SOX

The Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros last year to win the World series last year. The White sox haven't  won the World Series in eighty-eight years (1917). The sox didn't win any of there series winning playoff games at their home field US Cellular field they won all those on the road. 

They swept the Boston Red Sox and beat the Los Angles Angels of Anaheim to get to the world series led by their manager Ozzie Guillen.

This year the White Sox lead the league in homeruns and have the best 3, 4 and 5 hitters in the league in their lineup.

Also this year for the first series of the cross town classic it was played at US cellular field. The Cub's catcher Michael Barrett was run over by the Sox's A.J Peirzynski. then when A.J went to go get his helmet which was behind Michael Barrett. Then Barrett stepped in A.J's way and then punched him in the jaw.

After Barrett punched A.J Scott Podsednik knocked down Barrett and all the players from both bullpens went onto the field and got into a brawl.  

On June 30th thru June 32nd the Cubs And Sox will face off again at Wrigley field.

The White Sox are on the hunt this year for another World Series title.
