Math and Science Contest
2006 Results

Quigley's 10th Annual Math and Science Competition took place on Saturday, February 25, 2006.  A total of 81 students participated. The top ten 6th and 7th graders were awarded medals and all participants were presented with Certificates of Achievement and a genuine Quigley calculator.   Before the awards ceremony, while the exams were being corrected, the students had the opportunity to use Quigley's gym, swimming pool, weight room, computer labs, watch a movie, and have lunch in the cafeteria.

This Math and Science exam is not a standardized exam.  The exam was designed to be challenging because it was meant to be competitive.  Students use to such academic competition are better prepared for the rigors of this exam.  This exam is not indicative of success in the classroom.  Rather, one of the best gauges of academic success is the amount of effort a student puts into his studies.
