(B.A., Loyola University)  began teaching at Archbishop Quigley in 1990. He attended St. Rita Grammar School, St. Augustine Seminary (Holland, Michigan), St. Monica Novitiate (Oconomowoc, Wisconsin), Tolentine College, and Loyola University of Chicago, where he earned a Bachelor's in English. This year he is teaching American Literature, British Literature, and AP English. He is chair of the English Department and coach of the Speech Team. His patient spouse, Kathleen has blessed him with three intelligent and creative sons.

(B.A., Minot State University, M.A., Roosevelt University) earned dual Bachelor's Degrees in Music and Communication Arts with an emphasis in theatre from Minot State University in her hometown of Minot, North Dakota.   She graduated with her Master's in Secondary Education from Roosevelt University this past May.  Before joining the faculty at Quigley this fall, where she teaches Freshmen Literature and Composition, Study Skills, and Honors American Literature, Ms. Mostad taught at Chicago's Taft High School.  In addition to teaching, Ms. Mostad enjoys directing theatre around our vibrant city.  She is a proud member of Dream Theatre (www.dreamtheatrecompany.com) and equally proud co-founder of Uffda (OOF-dah) Productions.

(B.S., Carnegie Mellon University)  joined Quigley as Assistant director of Technology in January, 1999.  He teaches Information Processing to freshmen as well as Multimedia Authoring, Microcomputers, Visual Basic and AP Java programming as electives to juniors and seniors.  Mr. Davidson is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.  He worked for many years as a Programmer, Systems Analyst and Manager for U.S. Steel Corporation, Bell & Howell Company, and the Chas. Levy Company in Chicago.  In 1995, he started his own business producing multimedia presentations.  Mr. Davidson is married and has four children.  He and his family have lived in Chicago for over thirty years.

(B.S., Georgia State University, M.A., University of Georgia) originally from the western suburbs, Shannon reunites with her family by her return to Chicagoland.  Most recently she taught at Holy Cross High School located in River Grove, IL.  Shannon obtained her undergraduate degree from Georgia State University and her master’s degree from the University of Georgia.  Her teaching career began in Atlanta and for several years she was the mathematics teacher and head cheerleading coach.  Still waiting for a world series, Shannon continues to cheer on the Cubs and on Saturday afternoons, during football season, she cheers even louder as a Georgia football fan – Go Dawgs!

(B.A., Music & Ed., University of Illinois at Chicago; M.F.A., Film and Video, Columbia College and Master of Library and Information Sciences, Dominican University) is the Head Librarian at Quigley.   Her library background includes positions at the Chicago Public Library, Chicago Public Schools, IFS and the Chicago Archdiocese. A Chicago native, Barbara enjoys the arts culture of the city and is especially fond of film and reading. She is a member of ALA and past president of HSLMA (High School Library Media Association), and a member of Beta Phi Mu, (International Library and Information Studies Honor Society). When time permits she enjoys film projects, especially digital editing, photo collage and discovering new music.  She is long-time married to Reggie Ezell, a master calligrapher and teacher and they have a fine son Garrett, who is presently attending college at I.I.T. and plays Cajun fiddle.

(B.S., University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, M.S., Western Illinois University, M.B.A., Loyola University, MAT Dominican University) is new to Quigley this year.  She is teaching physics and integrated science.  Between degrees, she has worked as a claim adjuster for Bankers Life and Casualty Company, an editorial assistant at Commerce Clearing House, Inc., and a staff accountant at A. B. Dick Company.  After having a child she left business to raise her son.  In 1997, Ms. Frendreis returned to work as a science teacher at Lourdes High School in Chicago while working towards her teaching certificate.  In June of 2000, she received her teaching certificate.  Later in January of 2004, she completed her Master of Arts degree in teaching at Dominican University.  She also taught at Immaculate Heart of Mary High School in Westchester and sixth grade in Dolton, IL.  The last two years she taught at J. Sterling Morton East High School in Cicero, IL,  where she taught biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and medical terminology.  Ms. Frendreis is native to the north side of Chicago but now lives with her son in the southwest suburbs.

(B.A., in History, St. Norbert College in DePere, WI)   graduated from Quigley in 1999. While at St. Norbert College, Mr. Gerros played on both the varsity and junior varsity basketball teams.  His area of focus was aimed at Asian history, which he believes will only enhance his knowledge for future classes.  His role at Quigley is to aide in recruiting, teach World History, and coach both basketball and baseball at both freshmen and sophomore levels, respectively.  Mr. Gerros is very excited to be back and hopes to contribute to the long-lasting tradition of Quigley.

(B.A., Ripon College)  started teaching in 1991 and has been at Quigley since 1996.  Mr. Glonek is originally from Cicero, Illinois where after several moves he found himself in Oak Park, Illinois where he graduated from high school. Mr. Glonek then went to Ripon College, a small liberal arts college, in Wisconsin where he attained his Bachelor's degree in biology with an emphasis in environmental science. After graduation he started teaching at a Catholic school on the west side of Chicago for six years where he taught biology and coached baseball. Mr. Glonek's interests include fishing, music, and his ferrets as well as a general interest in games of all types.

(B.A., Niles College of Loyola University, M.A., Loyola University)  is, at present, the Vice Principal in Charge of Academic Affairs at Archbishop Quigley. He is, himself, a proud graduate of the Quigley Class of 1969. Marty earned his Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Niles College of Loyola University in 1973, and his Master's degree in Education from Loyola University. He is currently enrolled in The Catholic Studies Program at Loyola, where he is working towards an additional Master's degree. He currently holds a type 75 state certificate in Administration and Supervision. Before his return to AQPS, Marty served in a variety of positions in Catholic schools; including 15 years as an elementary school principal, most recently at St. Cletus School in La Grange. He has coached at the high school and elementary school level, and is an active member of his local parish - St. Leonard in Berwyn. Marty is happily married to Lois Graham-McHugh, and in his spare time tries to keep track of the whereabouts of his three great kids: Kate, Mickey, and Kevin.

(B.A., St. Xavier University, MPS Loyola University)  is the art instructor at Archbishop Quigley. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Art Education from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and her Master of Pastoral Studies from Loyola University. She was a religion instructor at Quigley South and helped develop an innovative program in campus ministry at Morgan Park High School. She is currently the chairperson of the Fine Arts Department at Archbishop Quigley.

(B.A., University of Detroit/Mercy, S.T.B., University of St. Mary of the Lake, M. Div., University of St. Mary of the Lake) a graduate of East Leyden High School in 1979,  he attended the University of Detroit/Mercy from 1979 through 1983, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Psychology.  In the spring of 1983 he entered the Franciscan Novitiate.  (St. John the Baptist Province and made simple vows as a Friar on December 12, 1984.  On December 12, 1985, he chose not to renew these vows and began a ten year period of working.  For the initial two years, he worked as a Special Education teacher and for the remaining eight years, he worked as a manager/administrator for a Special Education School.  His last position was with Clearbrook Foundation in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, running their scattered site housing program, managing 28 homes for the Developmentally Disabled.  In 1995, Paul entered St. Mary of the Lake Seminary and was ordained a priest for the Archdioceses of Chicago in the Spring of 1999.  His first assignment as a priest was at St. Michael's Parish in South Chicago.  He completed this assignment as the Parish's administrator in October of 2003.  Simultaneously, in July of 2003, he was placed at Archbishop Quigley as a full time faculty member and priest.

(Diploma in Philosophy, B.A. in Theology, B.A. Gregorian University, Rome, Italy, M.A. Salesian University Rome, Italy) holds two Diplomas in Philosophy and Theology both from his home country Uganda.  After his ordination to priesthood he was assigned to be the Diocesan Communications director.  He was then after sent to Rome where he earned his Master’s Degree in Communications, Mass Media, from the Salesian University in Rome, Italy.   His internship was with the Florida Catholic Newspaper in Florida, USA.  When he joined the Archdiocese of Chicago, he embarked on studies again and he has just completed his MA studies in Counseling Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology Chicago, IL.  He started working at Archbishop Quigley as an adjunct formation teacher in 1998 until 2003, when Cardinal George appointed him a fulltime theology teacher.

(B.A., University of Colorado, MAT National-Louis Unversity) received his Bachelor's Degree in Classics with a minor in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and then taught for three years at Baker Demonstration School, the laboratory school for National-Louis University. In December of 2004, he completed his MAT in Secondary Education at National-Louis. Since 2004, he has been at Quigley teaching Latin I and II.  He and his wife also serve as youth leaders of their parish in Chicago.

(B.A., Minot State University, M.F.A., Roosevelt University) a North Dakota native, teaches music at Archbishop Quigley.  He earned his B. A in vocal performance from Minot State University and his M.F.A from Roosevelt University in Musical Theatre.  He can usually be found singing or playing piano for area churches during the weekend and also singing and directing in Musical Plays and/or Cabaret.  He has also started his own theatre company called Uffda Productions.  He is thrilled to be working with teens, sharing his love of music and theatre and giving them an opportunity to grow and pray through music.

(B.S., Niles College)  graduated from Quigley in 1984, Niles college graduate of 1988, and Loyola University in 1989 with a Bachelor's degree in psychology. Worked as both varsity basketball and baseball coaches at Niles/St. Joseph and currently the varsity head basketball and baseball coach at Quigley. He has a longtime commitment to the seminary and its lifelong commitment to vocation. Mr. Lentine is also the Athletic Director and Director of Physical Education at Quigley.

(BA Indiana University) has been a member of the Quigley faculty since 2003.  He grew up in the western suburb of La Grange.  After graduating from Nazareth Academy, Michael attended Indiana University in Bloomington to study English and earned minors in business and medieval studies.  In addition to teaching, he serves as faculty liaison for the yearbook. He was married in May 2005 and became a father for the first time in April 2006. In May 2007, he will complete his Masters of Education degree from Loyola University. Michael would like to thank God for all of the opportunities he has had, his wife for all of her patience, and his son for all of the laughter he has provided.

(B.S., Michigan Technological University, M.S., Silver Lake College, M.A., National-Louis University) joined the Quigley faculty as a mathematics teacher in 2005. Daniel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 1982. He spent twelve years working as a design engineer in Kohler, Wisconsin. He earned his first Master’s degree in Management and Organizational Behavior in 1998. He got married and moved to Chicago in 1999. In 2001, the opportunity arose to change careers and he began teaching math at a Catholic high school on the north side. He then decided to get his state certification and in turn earned a Master’s degree in Teaching from National-Louis University in 2005. He has spent the past two years teaching in the Chicago public schools. He and his  wife, Karen, are active members of St. Helen parish.

(B.A., Loyola University)  is in his eleventh year as an instructor in social studies at Archbishop Quigley. Mr. Makrinski is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and Rosary College in River Forest, earning degrees in political science and education. A 1974 graduate of Proviso West High School in Hillside, Mr. Makrinski also holds an associate degree in journalism from Triton College and has worked on several newspaper and radio staffs. Mr. Makrinski has taught social studies at Marillac High School in Northfield, St. Francis Xavier grade school in Wilmette, and has also been a summer instructor at Weber High School and St. Scholastica Academy. Mr. Makrinski is the varsity golf coach at Quigley and is also moderator of the TALON, Quigley's student newspaper.

(B.A., Marquette University) joined Quigley in 2004 as a Spanish teacher and Student Senate moderator.  Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Mary attended Marquette University where she earned a BA in both Spanish and Public Relations.  In Milwaukee, she worked as a Spanish tutor and English as a Second Language instructor.  After graduation, she returned home to Columbus where she taught Spanish at Bishop Hartley High School for two years.  She is currently working on her Master's degree in Spanish through St. Louis University's summer program in Madrid.  A newcomer to Chicago, Mary is excited about exploring the city and working with the students, faculty and staff at Quigley.

(B.S., Loyola University, M.A., St. Xavier University)  earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University, and an MA degree in education at St. Xavier University. Mr. McGrath has had many years of experience at the elementary school level--where he taught junior high Mathematics. He currently teaches Advanced Algebra, Algebra and one freshmen Science class at Archbishop Quigley. Tom and his wife Laurel have two children--Tom is a graduate of Northwestern University, and Megan is a senior at Purdue University. Tom  is active in his parish, St. Julie in Tinley Park.

(B.A., M.A., Ph. D., Loyola University of Chicago; S.T.B., Pontifical Faculty of St. Bonaventure, Rome, Italy)  as a graduate assistant at Loyola he taught courses in Latin composition, Classical Epic, Classical Drama, and the Letters of Pliny. He began his secondary school teaching career at Archbishop Weber High School in 1971 as a full-time teacher of Latin. In due course he was selected to be the Chair of the Foreign Language Department , the Director of the Honors Program, Yearbook Advisor, and then Assistant Principal for Personnel and Curriculum . He continued to teach one class in Latin during the remainder of his years at Weber. He was and continues to be active in local (President, Chicago Classical Club) state (President, Illinois Classical Conference, Editor of the Newsletter) regional (Committees or the Classical Association of the Middle West and South) and national (Committees of the American Classical League) classical organizations. He has given several papers at the annual meetings of these organizations and several seminars on Medieval Latin. His last paper entitled "Y1K" was presented at the Illinois Classical Conference and Monmouth College. He left Weber in 1991 to care for his parents who are recently deceased. He is a bachelor living in northwest Indiana where he attended Bishop Noll Institute. At Quigley he teaches Latin I, II, III and the Advanced Placement Vergil along with the Introduction to Biblical Greek. He is also moderator of the Classics Club, the White Eagle Polish Club, and Chair of the Foreign Language Department.

(B.A., University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign)  graduated from Quigley in 2002.  While at the University of Illinois, John studied Sociology and Philosophy.  He was an active member of the St. John's Catholic Newman Center, participating and facilitating in numerous retreats.  He also worked for Newman Hall providing tech support for the computers of St. John's and the dorm.  John worked for the IT Dept at Pastoral Center of the Archdiocese for 5 years prior to joining Quigley.  His interests include traveling, photography, cycling, reading, writing, listening to indie rock, and spending time with friends.  John is excited about returning to Quigley and the city after spending four years in corn-country.  He will be managing the computer network of Quigley, in addition to assisting with the webmasters and the Junior retreat.  Go Cubs!  Go ILLINI!

(B.S., Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, B.S., Northeastern Illinois University)  is a native of Costa Rica. Ms. Rodriguez attended the National University of Costa Rica in Heredia, where she earned an Associate degree in Natural Sciences.  Additionally, she received a degree in Spanish Secondary Education from Northeastern Illinois University.  In the summers of 2002 and 2003 she completed four courses at the University of Costa Rica for AP Spanish.  Ms. Rodriguez has taught in a number of schools, both public and private--most recently at Notre Dame High School for Girls in Chicago.  Ms. Rodriguez is actively involved in her parish--where she is a Minister of Care, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Coordinator of the Cana Confrence, and Coordinator of Hispanic Liturgy. Along with her husband Emmanuel, she is busy raising four wonderful children and two granddaughters.

(B.A .,University of St. Mary of the Lake, M.A., DePaul University)  is a Quigley graduate of the class of '55. His undergraduate degree is from St. Mary of the Lake in Philosophy.  He earned a Master's degree in math education from DePaul University.  Active in math education professional groups, he served as Vice-President of the Mathematics Teachers' Association of Chicago for six years.  His teaching experience includes computer courses at the junior college level.  He also moderates both the Mathletes and Chessnuts, math and chess teams, respectively.  In 1993, he was appointed to "Who's Who of American Teachers" on the recommendation of former students. The award of which he is most proud, however, is his peer election as "Heart of the School."

 (B.S., Loyola University Chicago) is a part of the Quigley class of 1998.  Nathaniel went on to study at Loyola University where he studied in Rome for a semester, ran on the varsity cross-country and track teams, and earned a degree in education.  After Loyola, Nathaniel traveled to Arusha, Tanzania where he taught teachers new methods of teaching, as well as 4th grade classes. As an avid lover of the outdoors, Nathaniel worked in Denali National Park, Alaska giving public presentations on the natural and cultural history of the area.  He also worked at North Cascades National Park as a Park Ranger.  Today, Nathaniel works in the Recruitment and Admissions office at Quigley, is working on starting a non-profit organization, and pursuing a career in natural and alternative medicine.

(B.A., Northeastern Illinois University, S.T.B., University of St. Mary of the Lake, M.Div., University of St. Mary of the Lake, S.T.L., University of St. Mary of the Lake)  graduated from St. Robert Bellarmine grammar school in 1977.  He went on to William H. Taft public high school and graduated in 1981. He then attended Northeastern Illinois University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education/Music in 1985.  While at Northeastern Father Snieg was a member of the Concert Band, the Northeastern Brass Ensemble and studied keyboards privately.  Also while at Northeastern, he worked full time as a restaurant cook in the evenings after school, and then managed a delicatessen for a local food store. He was privileged to be a student-teacher intern at Glenbrook South High School where he taught Concert Band, Marching Band, Pep Band and general music classes.  After college he was hired by the Chicago Board of Education and taught briefly as a substitute teacher and then was placed as a full-time music teacher/band director.  In 1989, Father entered The University of St. Mary of the Lake to pursue his long-time dream of becoming a priest.   In 1992, he earned a Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree and in 1993 was ordained a priest and earned a Master of Divinity degree. In 1994, while a resident at St. Martha's in Morton Grove, he completed the Licentiate in Sacred Theology.  From 1995 to 1998 he taught religion while recruiting part-time at Archbishop Quigley.  In June of 1998, he became Dean of Formations, and in June of 1999, he was appointed Rector of Quigley by Cardinal George.

(B.A., Briar Cliff College, M.A., University of Notre Dame, MSW Loyola University)  hails from Sioux City, Iowa where he attended the local grammar school and high school.  He is a graduate of Briar Cliff College, Sioux City, Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry.  He taught in high schools in Illinois, Arizona, and California.  He holds an Master's degree from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana and an Master of Social Work degree from the Loyola University of Chicago. He did volunteer work in hospitals and half-way houses for the disenfranchised alcoholics in Portland, Oregon for two separate summers.  He spent a summer teaching advanced chemistry to students on the Caribbean island nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.  His interests are in reading about the sciences, volunteer work, running, and travel.  He has taught at Quigley South, Quigley North, and now Archbishop Quigley with a total of seventeen years teaching experience primarily in chemistry but also in biology, mathematics, religious studies, and social studies.

(B.A., University of Notre Dame, M.E., DePaul University, School Counseling Certificate, Loyola) is the Director of Guidance and is a certified School Counselor in the State of Illinois.  She enjoys working with all levels of students regarding academic, personal, college and career issues.  Ms. Tabit enjoys helping students reach their full potential to be successful in high school and life!  Previous counseling experience includes working at Notre Dame for Girls and St Benedict. Also, she advised college students at UIC and Wright College.
Ms. Tabit loves the great outdoors as she grew up in the Appalachian mountains in West Virginia where she enjoyed hiking , fishing, and  camping.  In Chicago, her hobbies include Lake front walks and bike rides, following the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame football and time with family, friends and her beloved pit bull/lab mix dog, Lucky.  Go Cubs!

(B.S., Niles College of Loyola University, M. Div., University of St. Mary of the Lake) a graduate of Quigley Seminary North in 1987, he attended Niles College Seminary where he earned a minor in Philosophy and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. After graduating in 1991 he went on to the University of St Mary of the Lake where he received his Master's in Divinity. Fr Walsh was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Chicago in the spring of 1995. In 1995 he was assigned to St James Parish in Arlington Heights where he ministered for one year. From the years of 1996 to 2001 Fr Walsh spent his second assignment at St George Parish in Tinley Park. In 2001, he was assigned to St Francis Borgia parish, where he spent time as an associate pastor and as administrator. In July 2005, he was asked to join the faculty of Archbishop Quigley. Fr Walsh is once again excited to be apart of Quigley's history, first as a student and now as a member of the faculty.
