On Thursday, April 28, 2005, the one-hundred member traveling choirs from Central Bucks High School-West presented a concert in St. James Chapel for Quigley students and faculty. They sang a variety of religious and secular compositions, including one by a member of the choir. Quigley students and faculty were very impressed by the quality of the performance. It was doubly impressive since the choirs had been traveling to Chicago all night on buses, and had not even been to their hotel before performing at Quigley.

The eight performing choirs of Central Bucks High School-West comprise one of the most respected choral programs in the nation. Having presented close to one hundred and fifty world premieres of North American composers in the last twelve years, West choirs have served as a pioneer of and advocate for comtemporary composition. West choir performances have been presented coast to coast in the United States as well as internationally in Canada and Europe. The choirs have performed in major venues such as the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the National Cathedral, the Pentagon and the White House in Washington, D.C. Choirs at the school have received the highest distinction in choral music by being chosen to perform at state, regional and national conventions of the American Choral Directors Association.
