Fire & Police Thanksgiving
Mass & Luncheon

Chicago Police Department                  Chicago Fire Department

Amazing Grace fills the St. James Chapel             The strains of Amazing Grace, played by the bagpiper, was a fitting conclusion to the Quigley community's Thanksgiving liturgy.  About a dozen graduates and parents, who are serving on the fire or police department, joined the students and staff for our liturgy.  The following luncheon was enjoyable time for all.

Father John Barkemeyer, pastor of St. Cajetan, was celebrant at the Mass.  In the homily, he recounted his time at ground zero in New York.  He was chaplain to a team of crisisLuncheon with firefighters and police officers counselors for those working at recovery and rescue attempts.

Entertainment at the luncheon included performances by senior Ian Camilotes who sang the National Anthem and songs by the Quigley choruses led by music director Alex Dilan.  Quigley thanks Officer James LoBianco, QN '90, who gave invaluable advice and help in getting the word out to his fellow police officers.

Quigley thanks you for your service and dedication
