Quigley Mission Walk

    Our annual marathon walk from Quigley to Mundeline took place on May 3-4. We started with prayer in the Cardinal's chapel and ended with a liturgy in the deacon's chapel at St. Mary of the Lake . Those who took part in walk were Ryan Banea, John Liston, Chris Reynoso, Andrew Kim, Ted Rosean, Dan Uriguen, Alex Alvarez, Adam Kotas, Sean Rosean, Sam Barlock, Alex Bess, Edgar Palma, and Tom Tracy. The faculty who accompanied the walkers were Fr. Dennis Ziomek Mr. Ken Strouse, and Mr. Tim Stoelinga, while Mr. Ray Schuman drove the bus to return the walkers home  

   The two-day event raised over $2,500 for the missions of the church, and has always been generously supported by the Quigley community and its friends. Special thanks to Fr. Jim Presta, Fr. John Canary, and Jeannie Moysey for their hospitality and help. Congratulations to the walkers and thanks to their supporters. Sore feet and aching bones are a small price to pay for spreading the Gospel to the world.
