CC goes State

For the first time since 1997, Cross Country qualified for the State Finals in Peoria to be run on Saturday, November 8.  Congratulations to state qualifiers freshmen Roger Pinon and senior Kyle Bingham.  At the Lisle Sectional, on Saturday, November 1, running a distance of 3.1 miles, Roger finished 12th with a time of 17:13 and Kyle finished 18th with a time of 17:24.  Roger's finish puts him as the fastest Class A freshmen for Chicago and suburbs.

Also running top 7 for Quigley was:  Sam Villareal (Jr), Matt Heinrich (So), Joe Fragassi (Sr), Christain Allion (Sr), and Joe Hetland (Jr).

The State Finals took place at Detweiller Park in Peoria, Saturday, November 8.    207 of the best runners in the state ran in the Class A Finals.  Kyle Bingham finished in 96th place with a time of 16:28, and Roger Pinon finished in 102nd place with a time of 16:35
