Quigley Cross Country is one of the greatest legacies of Quigley. Our cross country team is probably the one sport Quigley is actually known for! Our runners are a mix of all classmen, and they are very good runners. Our record is great: just recently we are regional champs. In the pictures below, it shows that our team was actually having fun, all while winning Chicago regionals. What makes our team unique is that we have some people that aren't great at running, and some who are. This is what the whole team is built upon: unity and team spirit. All our members have devotion to the team itself, and even when times are rough, they can count on other teammates for support. This is what also makes our team special: we build upon each other. Not many other high schools have a team like this, and they also don't have a regional trophy to brag about! But it was apparent to all the Quigley runners that the other schools were very competitive and did a very good job, not only at regionals, but also in all track meets. Quigley's legendary cross country team is giving Quigley a last great memory for Quigley to close on and we are proud of them for that. It will always be "a great day for running" at Quigley.
