Intended career: I plan to earn my certification as a personal trainer while attending Loyola University. I hope to work in the area of fitness and strength. I believe I can become a great personal trainer for the common man and/or professional athletes and celebrities. After graduating, I would like to run my own business as a manager of a health club or gym. Greatest hero: My grandmother, Adela Bendiola. She watched over me when I was small and as I grew up, I learned many lessons from her. She taught me that no matter how rough life gets or how strongly the world pushes you around, you always have to push back harder. She taught me how to use my talents and gifts to my advantage and to work hard in all and everything I do. I know that if my grandmother were alive today, she would be very proud of me. I love you, Grandma. Greatest hope: Is it our human nature to destroy one another? We see it everyday: murders, war, beatings, rape, hate crimes, and the like. I hope that one day all the violence will stop. We as humans are blinded by our differences and we do not see that we are all the same. God created us in his own image to love one another. Why, then, are we fighting among ourselves? Why are we at war? Why do we lash out at society? I hope that one day the curtain of hate will be lifted and we can see the world as God meant it to be. |
